![]() Most of them work really well with traditional dual analogue controllers like the Xbox One or DS5 controllers. Tons of games of UIs and support for dual analogue controllers. Battery life with the DualSense isn't the greatest, maybe 8ish hours? Points for the Nintendo Pro Controller there, that thing will go for hours and hours without a recharge. You won't get all of the DualSense haptic stuff (trigger feedback, etc.) unless you plug it in and use it wired, but you'll still have a very nice controller with not a steep learning curve.Īlso get a charging dock for it, if you can spend the extra 20 - 30 dollars. With Steam, you can configure it however you want, but save that until you've learned a bit and until then just use the default config and that'll be fine for your needs, I bet. Once you have spent some time with it, you can get more into using the gyro and stuff, but just out of the box it's a great controller. I'm also a fan of Nintendo's Pro Controller, but I think the DualSense is the most comfortable controller to use. You'll have to set it up on your PC as a Bluetooth device, but then Steam should recognize it seamlessly and give you a default config for all your games. My vote is for the PS5 controller, the Dual Sense, and use it with Steam. r/SteamDeck /r/SteamInput /r/GyroGaming /r/SteamControllerMods /r/SteamControllerMusic /r/ControllerSupporters /r/Steam /r/Steam_Link /r/SteamBox /r/SteamHardware /r/SteamOS /r/Valve Filters (subreddit theme must be enabled) Discussion / Configuration: Off News / Meta: Off Support: Off Discussion / Configuration: Off News / Meta: Off Support: On Discussion / Configuration: Off News / Meta: On Support: Off Discussion / Configuration: Off News / Meta: On Support: On Discussion / Configuration: On News / Meta: Off Support: Off Discussion / Configuration: On News / Meta: Off Support: On Discussion / Configuration: On News / Meta: On Support: Off Discussion / Configuration: On News / Meta: On Support: On ![]() Meta - Posts regarding the subreddit itself.
